I’ve worked with Juan Hurtado for several years and was thrilled to learn he started his own company, Iconic Mechanical. Juan was the lead technician for all of my commercial buildings when he was with Ontario Refrigeration, and I always trusted him to get the job done right. Recently, I had him out to service the AC units at my home. He replaced three bad capacitors and pointed out oil leaks from both condenser fan motors. Instead of trying to upsell the repair, he sent me photos of the motor specs so I could order and replace them myself if I chose to. That kind of honesty is hard to find in this industry. His rate is $110/hr, which is significantly more reasonable than most other companies I’ve worked with. Juan is professional, knowledgeable, and above all, trustworthy. Juan is the ultimate professional.  We had an emergency at our rental with a leaking gas valve at the furnace.   Juan adjusted his schedule and was able to get to us the same day.   He quickly diagnosed, picked up supplies and completed the line and valve installation  and was extremely fair and reasonably priced.  He also does plumbing so all around great service provider. I recently had Iconic Mechanic over to troubleshoot an older AC unit that was no longer cooling properly. Juan was extremely helpful, he was able to find a leak and get the unit back up and running again quickly. Not only that he inspected our furnace and did a thorough check on all our systems but to make sure it’s running efficiently. I have had other companies technicians out and they only recommend replacing the entire unit, so im very happy that I contacted Iconic Mechanic, they saved me a ton of money and I am once again enjoying the AC in my house!
